I took Friday off work and headed to the fantastic Ardington School of Crafts for Christmas copper foil. We were given a selection of patterns but the angel you see above was based on some inspiration on my glass Pintrest board. The Christmas trees were more of a traditional design but I decided to switch the tops and bottoms to pre formed glass shapes.
Here they are with the rest of the classes glass. There we some stunning examples including some other trees and the fab angel belowNot to mention this awesome stocking, present & assorted trees
My favourite piece however was this fabulous star created by Trish
Small but perfectly formed. Not content with having a fabulous day making Christmas decorations we also ran into May Martin sewer extraordinaire & judge (alongside the very Dishy Patrick Grant) for the great British sewing bee. Clearly a pic was in order
Thank you Ardington for another fabulous class!
