On Sunday we went along to Chiltern (home to also a very nice garden centre) to pick up our new (and as you can see not very feathered) rescue chickens. We decided to get two as we still have two ex battery hens in the coop and we wanted to the troops to be even. Below is McGonagal taking her first steps to freedom, we’ve named her sister Hermione as they will both be living in the Potter coop.
It was a bit chilly today but both of them managed to make it out of the coop, & have an explore of the garden, some practice is definitely needed however on going to bed… (they’ll get it with practice).
Congratulations are also in order for middle brother Kip (seen here with optional moustache). He proposed to girlfriend Beth up a hill at the weekend and good woman that she is she said yes! Welcome to the clan Beth!
